News Drop Ep. 46: Oscars, Spider-Man 4, GTA 5, Harry Potter & More

DeAndre Hoover Season 5 Episode 6

Returning from a brief hiatus, we're bringing you a comprehensive roundup of the most significant entertainment news that's been shaking up the industry.

The awards season delivered its verdicts with Anora claiming five prestigious Oscar wins including Best Picture, while Madam Webb took the dubious honor of Worst Picture at the Razzies.

The casting world has been particularly active, with Stranger Things star Sadie Sink joining Tom Holland in Spider-Man 4, sparking intense speculation about whether she'll play Jean Grey or the "real" Mary Jane Watson. Meanwhile, the Scream franchise continues its resurrection strategy by bringing back David Arquette as Deputy Dewey Riley, joining other returning favorites in what's shaping up to be a nostalgic entry in the series.

Perhaps most concerning is the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike affecting video game performers. While film and television actors reached agreements months ago, voice actors remain on picket lines fighting against potential AI abuse that threatens their livelihoods. With more than 160 games having signed interim agreements protecting performers from algorithmic exploitation, the battle continues against major companies reluctant to offer similar protections – highlighting a critical moment for creative professionals in the digital age.

From Bong Joon-ho's Mickey 17 struggling at the box office to the Harry Potter HBO series assembling its impressive cast (including Pappa Essiedu as Snape), we're covering everything that matters in film, television, and gaming. Whether you're curious about Battlefield 6's promising leaked footage or wondering why GTA 5's Enhanced Edition is facing unprecedented backlash, we've got the insights you need to stay informed about the entertainment world.

Speaker 1:

hello, all you awesome people out there, welcome, or welcome back to geek viz entertainment. I am your host, as always, hoover, and we are back with a brand new what the hell put that down there a little bit. We are back with a brand new edition of news drop. Uh, yes, we are back. I know it's been a little bit, um, I was dealing with a cold for for about a week, but I'm pretty good now. I I'm good, I'm like 98 good right now. I just got this lingering cough, um, but that's been about it. So that's where I've been. Uh, so that's why we didn't have one, probably as soon as we should have, because there's been a lot of news going on, uh, and there's been a lot of. There's been a lot of things announced. There's been a lot of news going on, uh, and there's been a lot of. There's been a lot of things announced, there's been a lot of new things revealed, and then, of course, we it's award season, so of course we got a ton of awards that we got to go over as well. But that's where I've been. I've just been sick, so, but now I'm back, I'm all good. So we back back to work here and back with the brand new news drop here for your head, for your hot top, fam. So get ready for that.

Speaker 1:

Trying to think of anything, I want to say oh, I think we're playing Space Marine 2. Warhammer, 40k Sports, space Marine 2. But 40k Sports, space Marine 2, but we keep having audio issues and I think it only happens when we record. So I might. So I think I think we're gonna, we're gonna can Space Marine 2, unfortunately, because I'm actually, I actually really am enjoying the game, but these issues is too much, it's too much of a problem. So I think we're gonna cast space marine 2. So I gotta find something else to play. I think I'm gonna focus mostly on dragon age, the veil gar, because we are nearly at the end. So we're gonna focus on that.

Speaker 1:

And then, of course, we get back to uh origins the day. From there we'll uh figure out what we plan next. So I I got a couple ideas, but we'll see. We'll see what happens there. So, um, yeah, that's about that. Um, oh, I'm actually fairly caught up on invincible season three. So I think once that wraps up, that finale comes out Thursday, which is like tomorrow at this point. So by the time that wraps up, I actually might have a? Um, a little impressions video uh up going up for that Friday or the weekend or the Saturday, yeah, so there you go, uh. And then, of course, I gotta keep up on daredevil born again as well, so I'm gonna be ready for that when that ends, yeah. So there you go, that's what. That's what we got lined up so far. So, anywho, that's a little channel update.

Speaker 1:

If you will, let's talk about what I'm going to be talking about here on this episode of news drop today. So, like I mentioned, award season was here, so we got oscar winners for the good stuff and we got razzy winners for the bad stuff. Uh, we got a news update for scream 7. Um, we're going to talk about mickey 17's opening weekend, which is like we're damn near on the second weekend now, and we got a brand new casting update. Um, I just realized we got a brand new casting update for spider-man 4, which is uh, pretty, pretty exciting there. That literally just happened, um, today, so that's cool.

Speaker 1:

Um, and then, on the video game front, we'll be talking about um initial reception to split fiction, so that's cool. We got some battlefield 6 leaks. We're gonna be talking about um initial reception to split fiction, so that's cool. We got some battlefield six leaks. We're gonna be talking about, uh, the reception to uh, gta 5's enhanced edition, and we got an update on the sag after strikes. So be ready for that as well. All right. And then on the television front, we've got some brand new casting news on the Potter series. We also talk about a renewal, the final season for the neighborhood. We got some more casting for Dexter, resurrections and SWAT got canceled again, and we got a small casting update on DC's Lanterns, on DC's lanterns. And then, of course, as usual, we will finish everything up with some trailers at the very end for the video.

Speaker 1:

Uh, portion of the of the of this news drop. So that's everything we'll be talking about here today. So, as I just didn't get myself a little bit closer, let's drop right into this news, shall we? Let me scroll up a little bit. All right, transition, all right.

Speaker 1:

So, of course, the oscar, the major, the major movie awards. The oscars happened, uh, a little while ago at the beginning of the month, I believe and we've got our list of winners for the 97 academy awards here. So let's see the oscars hold on. Let me also like I said, I got. I got my aspect ratio right on obs. I don't know why it was so weird, so everything should fit well. Only thing is, text is very small, so I'm actually going to see if I can punch in and that'll make it better. Won't be so much negative space. It's still a lot of negative space, but as you can see the text a little better, all right, all right, all right. So the ceremony blah, blah, blah. So we've had a.

Speaker 1:

Nora took home five oscars, including best picture. I've seen that. Um, let's see. They don't really have a good like recap of the thing overall. Before we get into everything, so screw it, let's just jump into the list of the winners.

Speaker 1:

So, as I mentioned before, onora won for Best Picture. Actor in a Leading Role went to Adrian Brody for the Brutalist. Actor in a Supporting leading role went to adrian brody for the brutalist actor and supporting role went to karen cullen for a real pain. Leading actress was won by mickey madison for an uh, anora, uh. Actress in a supporting role went to zoe zaldala for emily perez.

Speaker 1:

Animated feature was won by flow. Animated short in the shadows of the cypressutalist also took home Best Cinematography. Costume Design was won by Wicked. No surprise there. Onora also won for Best Directing, won by Sean Baker. Documentary Film was won by no Other Land. Documentary Short was won by the Only Girl in the Orchestra. Onora also took home Best Editing.

Speaker 1:

Best International Feature is I'm Still here, which is the Brazil. Let's see Make. Onora also took home best editing. Uh, best international features I'm still here, which is the brazil. Let's see. Makeup. Hairstyle was the substance. Uh, original score. Music was won by the brutalist uh. Original song was el mal for emily perez. Production design wicked live action short was I'm not a robot. Sound was won by doom part two. Visual effects doom part two won that as well. Best writing for adapted screenplay was won by conclave, while original screenplay was won by anora.

Speaker 1:

So anora took home, uh, quite a bit of awards, which is crazy, because I looked at the trailer. Anora is basically just like uh, gen x a pretty woman. That's the I'm thinking of the right movie, right, that's the one with uh sandra bullock who plays like the prostitute, uh, and then, like a rich guy, kind of scoops her up, tries to make her a housewife and shit. Yeah, so yeah, or nor just seems to be like gen x pretty woman, which I found like hilarious that it took home all these awards. Oh, and by the by, uh, no, I didn't. No, I did not watch any of the best picture nominees for the oscar, so I didn't watch any of them. So, uh, there you go. They are not, like, available for uh, streaming very much, and I don't think it was until like weeks before or like days before the oscars actually coming on that a majority of them even came out to like rent. So, no, I didn't watch any of them, but I'll probably still make a concern different to watch them.

Speaker 1:

I want to give like an actual opinion on what I believe maybe should have won, versus how a Nora's stacked up. All right, so those are our Oscar winners. So let's go from the highs of Hollywood to the lows of Hollywood. Let's talk about the Razzies, which celebrates the absolute worst in film. So let's talk about that too. All right, so so there they are exploited.

Speaker 1:

Madam webb took home worst picture. Took home another two. Um, so it seemed like a lot of awards. Just took home two each, which includes joker, unfrosted and megalopolis, of course, along with madam webb. All right, let's, let's look at. Do they have a list, or is everything hidden in the damn article? Okay, here we go, all right.

Speaker 1:

So, as I mentioned, worst Picture was won by Madam Webb, stacked up against Borderlands. I predicted y'all remember I did predict. I predicted Borderlands was actually going to sweep. So surprising, or not Surprising? But not surprising because Madam Webb was ass as well.

Speaker 1:

Worst Actor was won by Jerry Se seinfeld for unfrosted worst actress, dakota johnson for madame webb. We're supporting actor john voight for megalopolis. Wow, I forget, that's right. He had three fucking movie, yeah, four actually megalopolis, reagan, shadowland and strangers, and john voight was apparently terrible in all four. Uh, worst supporting actress is won by amy schumer for unfrosted worst director, francis for coppola for megalopolis, which I think they said he actually was there and accepted the war.

Speaker 1:

Uh, uh, he's won both an oscar and a razzie. Now, did they say he was there? He was. Yeah, I'm thrilled to accept the razzie award of so many important categories from mega lapis and for the distinct honor of being nominated as the worst director, worst screenplay, worst picture, at the time when so few have the courage to go against the prevailing trends of contemporary movie making. So I don't think he was there, he just okay, he just posted it on instagram. So he's embracing. At least I do believe he has talked about like um. I don't want to say he's been like fighting against it, but he has been very vocal and, like um, we already knew it was a passion project he's been very vocal of like everybody's saying my movie's terrible. But I was just doing, I was just being bold, I was being dead, I was being daring, I was trying to, you know, do something a little different. So you know, take that as you will. Uh, worst screen combo was won by joaquin phoenix and lady gaga for joker 2. Worst prequels remake, reap off, reap off, rip off for sequel also was won by Joker. And then worst screenplay was won by Madam Web. So there are your Ozzy Razzie winners for 2025.

Speaker 1:

We will look forward to the Oscars and the Razzies next year to see what, what is going to be on the list so far. So we're only three months into 2025. So far, what do you guys think we could possibly be seeing to? Possibly an oscar contention next year or razzie contentions next year? Y'all let me know in the comments if there's any movie you've seen so far. You're like you know what. I don't think oscar movies really start jumping in until like the fall or so. I could be wrong, but I I don't think they usually come in until around that time, mostly because they they try to be, they try to be um, you know, um the benefit of, uh, of recency, so they try to kind of come in at around a a good time, so like they're freshly remembered once, like nominees start getting listed and shit, all right.

Speaker 1:

Speaking of movies, this year Bong Joon-ho's Miga 17 opens to a sluggish 19 million in the US launch. Of course we've been covering this movie for a little bit. We watched the trailers, we talked about it when it was first announced and Robert Pattinson joined the cast. Unfortunately I was sick so I couldn't go see it opening weekend, but I do still plan to go see this. But yeah, his sci-fi Mickey 17 landed in the box office. It opened to a sluggish 19.1 million. It did win number one, but of course it was a slow. It's a slow market. We're very much in the slow times for movies. Like you know, like january is when you put your movie out to die in theaters, basically, and now you're in that weird time where it's the end of winter but it's not exactly warm and hot out yet, so nobody's really going out to the theaters until, like the summer stuff, the summer blockbuster star coming in, so we'll see if it's.

Speaker 1:

All eyes are on the performance of warner brothers and plan b movie consider is bond follow-up to, of course, parasite. Um, and that one best picture back then making 17's price tag is another thing. The Dark Comic cost the reporter $118 million, and that's before marketing. So it was going to need a strong legs to land back. So it was going to have to earn up to $236. Three, uh 236 and then probably another. Let's go down throwing it back like uh two, 240 mil to like actually break even.

Speaker 1:

Uh, where is it at so far? Uh, let's see 24. It's open to 24 million to date, and that's from 11 million in south korea career, uh, so so far it's made 53.3 million. So that has to be a little worrying. Um, yeah, uh, I did see. It is kind of. It is certified fresh, let, certified fresh.

Speaker 1:

Let's take a look at Mickey 17. Rotten Tomatoes score, and we'll look at the INBB too. Just gotta see where that's looking like. So it is certified fresh 77%. So just barely fresh. It's passable at least.

Speaker 1:

Um, oh, the day the earth blew up is coming out pretty soon, isn't it nova canes coming or is already released. Did I have dates on these? Because this is some pretty stiff competition. Yeah, this is dropping this weekend, this is dropping this weekend and this is dropping. So yeah, that might um, nicki 17 might be struggling. It's our moves, everything else the overcanes are. So it's got some pretty stiff competition, especially for an r-rated movie and then, of course, just general family audience. You know, for that looney tunes movie. I'm kind of looking forward to that.

Speaker 1:

Support 2d 2d animation. It says 92 as well. So it's got some stiff competition, all all of which are rated, at least in terms of Rotten Tomatoes, higher than it is Metacritic. That's what I was talking about. What did I say? Imdb? So, yes, this movie might be in a little bit of trouble. Like chances are, after this weekend it's going to get vastly left behind. So it might struggle to actually earn that bank back. So that's too bad. You know, it's always. It's always a struggle to capture that lightning in the bottle twice. All right.

Speaker 1:

Moving on, we have, uh, some scream news, is it man? Of course. Uh, david arquette is set to return as deputy dewey riley in scream 7. I don't. I do know why. I keep getting ready to go. Every time I hear about this nigga's character, my mind immediately goes to uh, his name was dewey in scary movie too, wasn't it? I merely think of his scary movie, his scary movie character, as opposed to his screen character. Every time I think about this man involved in uh scream, I think about dewey from scary movie as opposed to his actual character. All right, so, uh, as production ramps up on screen seven uh, we did. They did announce that matthew lillard is coming back as stew. Uh, we got scott foley's roman is coming back as Stu. We got Scott Foley's Roman is coming back as well, and now we have Deputy Dewey. Riley is set to return to the fray as the franchise continues to bring back the dead.

Speaker 1:

I need to watch these damn Scream movies. I'll be honest with you. I remember Scream 1. I remember Scream 2. I don't remember any fucking thing else. Apparently, it was a 3 or 4, because the newest one was Scream 2. I don't remember any fucking thing else. Apparently, it was a 3 or 4, because the newest one was 6? Because this is just the set. No, this is the third one since it came back. Right, so five was the. So five was the newest one. Uh, yeah, 2022, okay, yeah, so I don't remember. I don't remember a Scream 3 and a Scream 4, I don't remember them shits at all. But yeah, that's good damn I'm. I'm looking at an OBS. You really cannot see shit. God damn, I bet y'all Try to zoom in every time. So, yeah, so screen five was a 2022 reboot. I don't remember anything about a screen three or a screen four, but yeah, so we got David Arquette coming back to screen seven, so that's pretty cool.

Speaker 1:

They do seem to be bringing back a lot of people. I know Is what? Should I come back? Neff Campbell come back to do the kick-ass announcers. Roster of new Alexis stars looking mighty impressive. Joining him and the aforementioned series attorneys above and movie would be okay. Neff Campbell is coming back. Mason Gooding, chaz, mr Floyd Brown.

Speaker 1:

Along previous house news covering Isabella May, celeste O'Connor, asa, german, mckenna Gray, sam Rockner, anna Campbell, joel McHale, mark Consuelos and Ethan Embry may. Celeste o'connor, asa, german mckinnon, grayson rockner, anna campbell, joe mckayle, mark consuelos and ethan embry okay, by the way, shouts out to jasmine savoy brown, being a black girl in a horror movie that actually managed to return back for some sequels. All right. And they say scream 7 is coming on february 27th, 2026, so we are a little under a year removed. All right, next up something fairly new. This literally just dropped as I was on my way home today. Oh, by the way, uh, netflix is looking at daniel craig for greta gerwig's chronicles of narnia movie, so you got the scoops here.

Speaker 1:

I'm a geek visions, all right, but Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is joining Tom Holland in the next Spider-Man movie. Predictions start later this year. Spider-man 4, which stars Tom Holland, is found a co-star and it's a stretch. Things star Sadie Sink is set to join the sequel. Marvel and Sony have no comment. Destined daniel cretin is directing. I forgot about that. So that'd be cool, but of course. So this is really cool because sadie sink has really been, has really started to get popular from, uh, stranger things, of course. But the most interesting thing about this is the theory and the question of who will she be playing Prevalent to the story. So they say it here but I'm finna, talk, I'm finna. Yap, on my own damn time, the deadline. But thank you for the story.

Speaker 1:

Inc has been rumored to be on Marvel's shortlist of young actors that they kind of have pinned and tapped to possibly lead the X-Men movies when they do them. I don't know who the hell else is on the list. Sadie Sigg is like the only person on that list. I actually knew. You know what we on a. I keep forgetting we're on the computer so we can actually look at that shit. Let me see um, marvel x-men cast casting. Um, let's see, there's some other people, but I know there's like a small list of actors and Sadie Sink has long has been a longstanding name seen on this list to being circled to play Jean Grey for these X-Men movies. So that's one of the biggest and most intriguing things about this story.

Speaker 1:

So, of course, the, the main theory, uh, because of course sadie singh is has red hair, she's a redhead, so it's uh. Is she going to be playing jean gray being introduced in this movie, or is she going to be playing, uh, uh, the real mary jane mj, the real mary jane watson? Of course, as we know, zendaya has been in the spider-man movies since the start, since Spider-Man Homecoming. They did a little bit of a fake out because her name is Michelle, michelle Jones, mj, but she of course hasn't been Mary Jane. So, yeah, here it is.

Speaker 1:

So it's been Sadie Sink who's been rumored to be Jane Grey. I think this guy is supposed to be Scott and I think she was rumored to be kitty. I think I don't know. It probably says it in here. Uh, yeah, yeah, she's. She's uh circled to be a shadow cat. And oh, here we go.

Speaker 1:

Sadie singh has been lifted for jane gray, harris dickerson's eyed for Cyclops and Julia Butters is being considered for Kitty Pryde. So those have been like the names, and I know for a fact these two have been like the names on like every one of the lists that everybody keeps talking about. So there could be some truth to it. There could be some truth to it. So it's the whole thing. Is she playing Jean Grey or is she playing Mary Jane Watson? So that's the interesting things to find out. Um, what was I talking about? Zendaya's character? Uh, oh.

Speaker 1:

And then also, of course, at the end of Spider-Man um, no Way Home. They had the spell that caused everybody to forget that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, but unfortunately, that meant everybody would forget who Peter Parker is. So Ned and MJ Happy Hogan, all of their memories, of all their time in their relationship with Peter got erased. He, he decided to decline, reintroducing themselves to him, and now he's on his own so she could be coming in as a new potential love interest now that he's moved on from, uh, from mj michelle jones. But you know, the question is, who is that? So very interesting, very interesting for the, for the sweaties like me, as to who she will be playing. And we will continue to guess and theorize and try to figure things out up until the release of the actual movie. Um, I would guess marvel, being marvel, probably is also gonna fuck with us in that aspect as well. So, like we probably, they probably are gonna officially announce the character's name. They're probably gonna use a fake name to kind of throw us off, because remember when, when zendaya was first cast in there, I think they just had her listed as michelle and it wasn't until the end of homecoming that they announced her full name was michelle jones mj. So this ain't something new to them. We already know how they work. So very interesting news, very interesting there. So we'll have to wait and see.

Speaker 1:

And also, I like sad Sadie Sink. Her performances on Stranger Things have been very good. Stranger Things is one of those shows where it's like I'm very interested to see where everybody's career takes off after that. Of course, she isn't the first Stranger Things alum to pop up in the Marvel movies. I feel so bad for Charlie what was his name, charlie Hutton being cast in that goddamn new mutants movie and he was cast as, like one of my favorite, low-key, favorite x-men characters, cannonball. Uh, but that movie, that movie was so ass, that movie was so ass. But yeah, I'm, I'm very excited for x-men. I want to I'm I'm very excited to see where they take this to move. I might have to do a video on that on, like my theories and hopes for Dex film. That's enough, I'm going off on a tangent. But any who, that is it for film. Now let's move on to tell it, not television, my dumb ass.

Speaker 1:

Video games. So, and some some recent news from actually I think this is the larger note that it might come out pretty quick, pretty, pretty well, I can't talk. Uh, yeah, it looks pretty good, all right. So in some other news, uh, very recently, uh, so basically, I labeled this one uh, hazelight studios goes three for three. Uh, so recently, split fiction, the latest game from a co-op game specialist, hazelight, hit a major milestone. They announced that Split Fiction sold over one million copies in the first 48 hours. Hazelight Studios lost the game on March 6th, which means the number is likely to hit the one million mark. On the 8th they announced the love you show for our game is overwhelming. The studios, their videos, social media, uh, everyone here at hazelight are beyond happy and we can't stop enjoying your amazing reactions.

Speaker 1:

Uh, if y'all don't know, hazelight studios is a small little indie game studio. Uh, they've been around for quite a while, um, but they have a very strong list of games coming out and all of their games are co-op games. I think the only one that wasn't was their very first game, which is called Brothers, because I remember I played that one and I played that one by myself. But they follow the same formula you basically it's always two main protagonists in Brothers. You can control both as one player. But once you got to their second game, which was A Way Out, which might sound familiar to some of y'all, they really went into this whole co-op specific gameplay that's designed to co-op, so it's designed for two players, it's story driven, it's character driven, and you play with a partner and the two of you have to go through the game and solve puzzles and work together and communicate and things of that nature. Um, their third game, which was it takes two, actually won game of the year back in 20, 2021, was that when it came out? Uh, yeah, it came out in 2021, that actually won game of the year back in 2021. So now it was 2024 I mean 2025 and they've released.

Speaker 1:

Their very next game was a split fiction, um, something I I'm very interested. I do want to actually play this because I actually haven't played. I played, I played a little bit of brothers, I played a little bit of no way out, uh, but I never played it takes two and I'm very interested to play this. This seems like it's been cool, but so is the life when you don't get friends. So, hey, good word for Hazelight Studios. Hazelight Studios has gone three for three, four for four, if you want to say brothers. Great, it wasn't until a way out that really kind of put them on more of like the, the um, that really kind of put their name out there in like a mainstay and sort of a household name, if you will. Um, but yeah, they, they got like a, they like a fucking a perfect band marriage right now. So, hey, I'm happy for him.

Speaker 1:

Also, he might, if you're a gamer and you watch the game awards, you may be familiar studio. Hey, what's his name? Yusuf yusuf, something I forget. I forget what his name is yusuf ferris. He may, you may remember him because he's the famous guy who, uh, who got on the game awards. It was like fuck the oscars, I think, because the oscars were happening residently at the same time as the game awards. He was was like fuck the Oscars. So, yeah, that's him. So good for them. Good for them. They do good work. They do good work. All right.

Speaker 1:

Next up, we've got some news on some Battlefield 6 leaks. They got some first footage. This is funny because they had like a small event and basically everybody who took place in it, as usual, had to sign an NDA and not share any info, and I think, literally as soon as the event was over, some motherfuckers leaked shit off. Rip Like. As soon as the event was over, there was already footage online. So the next Battlefield game referred to unofficially as Battlefield 6, is currently holding an early beta. Despite yeah, there you go Despite players having decided to NDA to participate.

Speaker 1:

Footage has leaked online. The reactions are overwhelmingly positive, though, as players seem excited for new features, details and the return of the modern combat seen in past entries, so alright. So after? So, all right. So, after the disastrous launch of 2021's battlefield 2042 and the poor sales of battlefield 5 in 2018, uh, the long-running franchise has been in rough shape. Uh, fans aren't sure to expect, uh, but the modern combat gory days of battlefield 2 through 4, uh, uh, it seems to be exactly what happened from the leaked gameplay. Let's see what I'm talking about. Of course, if that has to do like, if that's like the actual thing, of course it can. Yeah, leaked footage has been removed. I don't even know why they even have it up here. Let's figure out what we're talking about. The test was supposed to be closed and players are forced aside at nda, forbidding from sharing, but then, of course, turn it, put both.

Speaker 1:

The dgs post the clips across reddit, youtube and twitter. I'm, of course, also not gonna go looking for them. I ain't gonna have them pull my shit down, even though I'm a nobody to these people, but hey, you gotta play it safe, uh, so some of the clips show new features and details not before seen. They've gone viral. One clip reveals that players will be able to grab down comrades and drag them behind cover to heal them and then get back into the fight Cool. So the other military shooters have done events and wanted to battlefield for some time. Another popular clip showed a player getting shot by a powerful sniper rifle and then being sent flying back. So maybe some some really cool road. Uh. Ragdoll mechanics, um, uh, and they are impressed by the level of destruction seen in some of the leaks as well, and that's always been one of the big features for battlefield. Uh.

Speaker 1:

Other things players seem to be happy about is less specific and more of a general vibe from the leaks. Um, I was looking at a 2026 release. Uh, looking a lot like a next-gen evolution. Uh, combat's more grounded and modern. The ui and the hud seem ripped out of battlefield 4. Uh, or play that. Classes even seem to be played very differently from each other, hearkening back to all the game.

Speaker 1:

So it seemed like they learned from their mistakes. Uh, and they're going back to the roots and they're just going back to what worked and just going back to this one ain't been I'm not playing it. I was gonna say this one ain't been taken out, though I ain't playing it though. So it seemed like they're just kind of going back to their roots. They took what a lot of people didn't like in the past games to heart and they're kind of going back to their roots, brought back some old stuff and mostly focusing on just improving what worked back then to make it better and avoiding what people didn't like in the last ones. Um, but a lot of oh, they're not removing it. Some have remained on ready for days now, despite being in thousands of upvotes and views and comments. Okay, so that's funny.

Speaker 1:

To be clear, ea doesn't like the leaks, at least officially. One developer replied to leaked footage or gameplay of someone dragging a ninja teammate away from combat, clarifying that he is not okay with the leaks. He also warned players that EA plans to deal with them accordingly. So expect the leaks to be removed eventually, of course, allegedly, allegedly. Leaks to be removed eventually, of course, allegedly, allegedly, allegedly. All right, that's all. I'm sure y'all see him, he gets right. So some some good news, some good news for, uh, battlefield.

Speaker 1:

I feel like it has been a very long time since battlefield has been like still kind of stood up there as like an active competitor to Call of Duty Granted for me. For me personally, I kind of fell out with both of them. I had my era of first person shooters and online games and shit, and then that she was over, so I haven't really done too much with either of them. But Call of Duty is of duty has, of course, recently gone through a nice little revival. Um, black ops from like cold war and then the one that just came out both of them were were highly regarded, so it's very pretty.

Speaker 1:

Did they say 2042 is in 2021? So gosh, we have had a battlefield game in three years. What the fuck am I saying? We haven't had a Battlefield game in five years. Why do I keep thinking? I still think it is 2024 for some reason. So that's good. I hope it works out for him. I hope Battlefield players are very happy with what they get EA and DICE delivers and Battlefield can get back out there. Who knows that? I got a PC now. I might start trying to jump back into some of these online shooters like that.

Speaker 1:

All right, but on the other end, why was dr dre there? Pop band, just see fucking dr dre's big ass face right there. All right, uh, rockstar's grand theft auto 5 enhanced is now the worst user reviewed. Gta on steam um, holy shit, is this out? I did not know that I was the end. I'm getting off topic.

Speaker 1:

All right, um, rockstar's new and improved version of gta 5 isn't going down well on. Steam finally gets earlier launch in march, by the way, it's fucking insane that they just let me make sure it's coming out on pc before, right, okay, yeah, drop to 2015. So this is like. This is just like um, rockstar is weird because the enhanced version is basically, um, the current gen update for gta5. So now you still play gta5 on a fucking ps5, which is honestly fucking ridiculous. Like that shit don't make no damn sense. This shit came out on ps3. You, you can play one gta5 on three fucking generations of PlayStation. That's insane. But yeah, so for some reason, if you don't know, the GTA V Enhanced Edition is basically just the current-gen updated version for GTA V, so it's basically the PS5 version of GTA, which is weird that they do the console versions before they get to the pc versions. That's fucking weird.

Speaker 1:

So, uh, and apparently, uh, it looked like it might be a reason for that gta 5, uh, auto, why do I keep saying auto? Last g grand theft auto 5 enhanced, released on march 4th, has a mixed user review on steam, with a 54 percent from its 19 000 users flat as positive of the 19 000 users, rather positive. So without any context, the original gta 5 on steam, now unlisted at the request of rockstar games really, nigga. They did the same thing with the uh, with the um, enhanced with the uh, with the trilogy. When they redid the uh trilogy remake, they took the original trilogy off storefront and so it was just the fucking remake, one that was.

Speaker 1:

That was also super fucking shitty at launch. Rockstar be on some bullshit, don't they? And as a request, unable to appear in search on valve's platform has very positive user review on steam, so you can't even get the fucking good one. Now. Gta 5 enhances currently the worst user rated user review, gta on steam, with its closest competitor for the unwanted crown, the gta 3.

Speaker 1:

The definitive edition, that's what it was called. Yeah, like I said, that was crap too. It's a free upgrade for the gta 5 on pc uh features previously only on that. That's the only. I mean. It's like it's the ps5 xbox series version of gta for the pc uh, including a lot of latest vehicle and performance upgrades. Right, oh, it's supposed to for gta online shit. That's still so fucking stupid.

Speaker 1:

So what is the uh? You think that'd be relatively straightforward process, but the account migration isn't working as intended for many players, including account migration problems are at the heart of the negative view. Okay, I was going to ask. So what's the what's the issue? Uh, online profile associated rockstar games account is not eligible for migration at this time. Uh, figuring nearly 700, 700. Why do you have 700 hours on gta online, my boy? All right, whatever. Oh, um, one character, so you can make a few more bucks off me. Then you can lick my aneurysm clean. Hey, you know what? I shouldn't have said that, buddy, you standing on business. I'll pause you, my boy.

Speaker 1:

Uh, this is an object downgrade from the old version, gonna pretend this was never released to continue to enjoy the legacy version until the new game comes out when I'm 60. Hey, yo, I'm leaving a negative review mainly due to Rockstar deciding that some accounts should arbitrarily not be able to migrate. If you ask for help or support, they just say they can't do anything about it. Reason other I can't migrate either of my two accounts. Rockstar support is completely useless. It can't help. With the game being over 10 years old, I'm sure as hell not going to completely restart my progression and online just to get marginally better graphics, if that, and s hsw and whatever other minuscule they have added, yeah, people are pissed.

Speaker 1:

And the fact that they took it off digital, though the actual original one off digital storefronts too was trash as well. Uh, gta6 is planned to launch during the fall of 2025, possibly. Uh, which is going to leave pc gamers out in the cold. Yeah, do you know? Wow, you know what? I just realized that that is also fucking ridiculous. Pc gamers are only just now getting these brand new enhancements for GTA Online, when fucking GTA 6 is possibly right around the fucking corner. So they? So it's like they literally just threw this shit out just so they can fucking have it before gta 6 comes out. Damn and this is a former developer it's hard to explain why gta 6 is coming to pc after it hits console and called on pc gamers to give the studio the benefit of doubt over its controversial launch plans. Well, so gta 6 isn't gonna launch on pc.

Speaker 1:

At the same time, pc got wow, rockstar does not. The rockstar does not. Fuck with y'all pc niggas. I can't say that I'm I'm technically a pc nigga now too. So there you go, rockstar rockstar continues to fuck over pc gamers. All right.

Speaker 1:

And our final bit of news, a little something a bit more important uh, the sag atravino game strike continues, despite the continued negotiations. Uh, if y'all didn't remember, I know y'all probably remember a while ago, last year, 2024. Uh, one of the big things was these was these sag strikes? Both the sag and theriters Guild had a big strike at the same time for movies and TV was probably less known is the fact that SAG-AFTRA for video games have also been on strike and they continue to be on strike to this day. So, while film and TV, they got their deals together, they sat down, they got their deals together and they were able to go off and get back to work. The same has not been said for video games, though. Granted, there has been. They still have been able to work, but they are still on strike and negotiations continue still. So the SAG after strike involving video game performance actions set to continue after the latest negotiations have failed to result in a new deal.

Speaker 1:

In an update posted on its official website tuesday night, the union's chief negotiator, duncan kravchi, ireland, for the video game strike series. There has been progress in some areas, but it's not enough to curb the concerns the union has about ai abuse and they are completely right because I think then, um apex legends, I think I think they literally fired their entire french voice cast right before the uh, right before the, the new update came out or something they really thought of, the okay, the entire french voice cast for apex legends quit over there. It is quit over a new contract which allowed potential ai voice use. The cast feels signing and signing endorses ai and that the contract lasts clear compensation. Some believe ai removes a human touch and creative progress which, by the way, um, and I think this, I think I think this is the biggest reason why they still are and why they still should be on strike.

Speaker 1:

Because, unlike film and tv, which, um, it's like your physical likeness, it's like your face, that these fucking people are going to try to use for a I use foreign shit. Remember that was the whole story. I talked about this during the strikes. Um, one of the studios literally tried to get like um background extras to sign a deal in their contract and a clause in there would allow them to scan their face and their bodies for them to be used for ai uses in the future, so they could show up as a day player, which means you're just showing up for that one day, for this one thing, as just a background character. You show up for that one day, you get paid and you move on. But the studio can continue to use your fucking face and your body just recreated an AI in any other fucking movie or TV and situation from the future and you don't get paid for it. You just got paid for that one day. You had to physically show up and got paid for that one day. But now that they got your face scared, now they can use your face in any situation they can and you don't get paid for that. That was bullshit.

Speaker 1:

So that's why I'm saying it's very important because these are voice actors. Voice actors and, um, motion control, uh, uh actors. So they do the you know. They get put in the suits and they have their emotions tracked for for motion capture, for the video game scenes. So it's already not using their face, not using their likeness. In some situations might not even be using their bodies, because you could be playing some character that doesn't actually have like a, like a human body, but it's just your voice that it can. That we all know from ai. That shit is pretty fucking easy to use and replicate and of course they're just going to use that. So the whole voice acting community could possibly be out of a job from this fucking AI shit. And yeah, that's their fucking likeness, that's their money, that's like their lifeblood right now, so of course they're going to fight for it.

Speaker 1:

Though progress has been made and agreements have been reached on certain provisions since we launched on last year, the last proposal the bargaining group uh made is still filled with alarming loopholes that will leave our members vulnerable to ai abuse. Uh, the union recently submitted a counter to this proposal that diligently addresses all of the loopholes and will result in a contract that offers the minimum protection to our members in need in order to maintain substantial careers as video game, addresses other than loopholes and will result in a contract that offers the minimum protection to our members in need in order to maintain substantial careers as video game performers. So, yeah, that's very important and I agree they should. Uh, let's see anything else to say, because you can say that the bargaining group wants to paint a picture uh, then deal. Then a deal is close. Wait what the bargaining group wants to paint a picture I. Then a deal is closed. Wait what the bargaining group wants to paint a picture. I think that's supposed to say that that a deal is closed.

Speaker 1:

Crabtree Island says that it's not the case and it's part of a hope to have union members turn on each other. They want to use past performances and any performance they can source from outside the contract without any of the protections being bargained at all. See, I see shit like that. Just reuse voice lines so like if you got a mother, if you got a motherfucker who's been doing this for like a very long time, think of like a motherfucker, like a troy baker, uh, uh, a jennifer hale, uh, a cree summer. You know what I mean? People who, uh who, nolan North, people who've been doing this for a very long time. They could just re-fucking use a bunch of voice lines, a bunch of lines, a bunch of performances, and just put that into AI and just have AI reproduce a performance for whatever script they got and just have it like that and that'll be it. You could be told nothing about your replica being used, offered nothing in the way of payment, and you could do nothing about it. They want to be able to make your replica continue to work as you during a future strike, whether you like it or not, and once you've been given your specific consent on how your replica can be used, they refuse to tell you what they actually did with it. So, yeah, fuck these niggas. If this is so, yeah, of course we, of course. That's the biggest thing. They want to fight against the use of ai and this voice work, because this, in this, in this medium, it's a lot easier to use it and to get oops and to get away with it than you can in filming TV, because there you're using somebody's actually physical likeness. In this you're just using their voice or a mocap performance.

Speaker 1:

The current video game strike began in July of 2024. We're almost a damn year, despite a continual. However, the union says that more than 160 games have signed interim and independent agreements to allow them to work with SAC after members. Those agreements contain protections. We have been asking the bargaining group for terms that are clearly feasible and acceptable to a great number of game companies of all sizes. Even if the bargaining companies resist the union says so they've basically been working on like a table basis. They have been working through, probably haven't been doing much through like agents or things like that. They literally have to probably talk to them one-on-one to work out like the exact things of, like a contract or it's something they've been, uh, signed up for previously and and already fulfilling.

Speaker 1:

So so, yeah, so I know it's easy to forget, but don't forget, the voice actors are still on strike for video games. They are still on strike. So, hey, we stand with them over here, one of it especially as a wannabe, as voice actor, who ain't done shit to actually try to be one. Okay, I stay with him. So that's it for video games. Now we will move on to television. Uh, funny thing is I had this in my film section at first and then, right before I recorded, I realized like, oh shit, this is tv, my dumb ass, all right.

Speaker 1:

So, um, nicole Ari Parker joins DC Lantern series at HBO. Give me the water. So the and just like that star, nicole Ari Parker has landed a recurring role in the HBO DC dc studios drama lanterns as john stewart's mother, bernadette. The serious fellow is howell jordan, who's played by kyle chandler, and john stewart, played by aaron pierre, two members of the green lanterns of core. Uh, I know who the. We know who the green lanterns are. If you're watching this, you know who the hell the green lanterns are? Uh. Official character description for bernadette reads formidable and tenacious, bernadette refuses to give up no matter how insurmountable the odds. At her core she is a fiercely protective mother who has worked her entire life to ensure that she and her family will not be passed over. So it's a. Solely atlantis is an eight episode series. It's going to be on max. Uh. The cast also includes kelly mcdonald, gerald garrett dillahunt's in this.

Speaker 1:

I didn't know that. How come you don't got no uh clickable name? Don't do my boy like that? Porna jagan, jagan eight jaganathan and eorich thomason. Uh, who's been cast as sinestro? Uh, no, premiere date just yet, but more casting updates for uh lanterns.

Speaker 1:

Did we talk about the? I don't think we. I don't think I was getting anything for the. Uh, I don't think I did anything for the. Uh. No, I don't want that one. They had a image there it is. Yeah, I was gonna say I don't think I showed off the, the image they shared either. Uh, but this was the image they shared. How jordan, how jordan, right there, and? And? Uh just said john stewart, and if you look very closely you can see Kyle Chandler does have the ring on as well. He probably does too, but his hand placement you can't see it. But you can kind of see the ring on Hal Jordan right here though. So yeah, so that's got our first look as well. I'm not gonna lie. It could.

Speaker 1:

It's gonna have to be different, uh, especially if they have, like the suits and shit. I don't like the color palette. It's very dull. It's gray, dull, muted ass colors. Even this blue jacket is. It's a very dull ass blue. Um, so I would guess, maybe, maybe they creative decision, maybe they work with these muted colors so that when they use their abilities and their powers, it pops more on the screen. I mean, it's gonna pop regardless because it's a big, fucking bright ass green light construct, but maybe in order to make it fit more in tv, uh, it won't be that bright, but because it's gonna be like a solid green, it pops amongst, uh, if this is, if this is, you know, kind of more telling for how the show is, uh, a more muted color palette, maybe it makes that green pop. Don't know what they're gonna.

Speaker 1:

Uh, the suits, uh, that this show it's like. Like you can see it right here. I clicked on it. I didn't mean to click on it. They do show the suits in the concept art. I don't know how. I don't know how you know? Yeah, it was like this. They do have the suits in the concept art. I don't know how you know. I wonder how they're're gonna handle the suits for the series. Remember the suit was actually like one of the worst parts of the movie what ryan reynolds, back in 2011, I think it was so. Oh, by the way, I just know that's sinistro too, because that's the yellow ring, right? Yeah, so here you can see they do have the suits, how they use the ring and everything. So I wonder how they, how it's going to translate in the show. I feel like they'll probably go practical, because the cg suit in the movie was terrible. So there you go.

Speaker 1:

All right, more casting news here. Uh, hbo. I think it says they're close, but I do think at this point in time they are actually cast. Um, so we've got, uh, papa sedu and janet mcteer be classed as sleep ed mcgonigal um, uh, we do know it's coming off the heels of John Lithgow's casting as Albus Dumbledore. So now we have these.

Speaker 1:

Uh, according to Deadline, oscar nominee and Chaos star, janet McTiernan talks to play Professor Minerva McGonagall uh, in HBO's ambitious new show, while Lazarus Project's uh, papa I'm gonna call him Papa E, haha law rumored to be in on the uh casting wish list is reportedly close to closing a deal to play matt post's master and actually have blood prince uh, servant savernus snape, uh, if y'all remember, the characters were originally played by dame maggie smith and the surly miss alan rickman in the movies from the early 2000s. So that's cool and yes, of course, let's talk about it now because it has been the point of talks ever since this was talked about. Uh, yes, they are casting snape as a black man. So of course, harry potter is now woke. Um, now, look, as somebody who's never read the harry potter books, I've only, just like recently, actually watched all of the harry potter movies. I'm not a big harry potter guy, I'm not a potter head, um, so I don't know. I think I did see something where it was explained like in the books he is kind of explained to have a pale skin and long sort of dark hair. So I can give it to you on that one. Um, I've never seen this guy, any performance he's had. I can't speak to any previous exposure for his acting talent, but at the end of the day, that is what matters who can be cast in a role to bring it to life the best for what they have. And if they feel this man feels the role, so be it. And also I get.

Speaker 1:

Now, if your argument is really like, how can he and even to a even, to an extent, miss Janet here, how can they? Because I do believe McGonagall, played by Maggie Smith, is also a beloved character in the movies. So if your argument is how could he possibly fit the fit the shoes is, how could he possibly fit the fit the shoes? He stepped into a big, big pair of shoes here playing, uh, severed snape after alan rickman's legendary performance as the character. I'll give you that one because, yes, even I know, as like I say, as much as I'm not a harry potter guy, even I know alan rickman's portrayal as server snape is beloved, not even by just fans of harry potter, but just people who've watched the movie. Even I watched the movie and I was like, yeah, I get it, he was pretty, he was really damn good in that role. So if that's your argument, I get it. He's got some big shoes to fill stepping into this role after after that. So I will give you that.

Speaker 1:

But then, of course, if you're just upset that, uh, you know, dei is in my harry potter, and then I'm like, okay, whatever, whatever, bro, uh, what else they talk about here? Uh, as such, the casting of 34 year old uh isaidu as a more book accurately a state compared to rickman, who was 54 when he first died in the black robe, and a 63 year old mctier, four years younger than smith was when she began makes a lot of sense. And while a certain uh, yeah, unsavory corner of the internet will doubtlessly lose their minds over the notion of a non-white actor playing a fictitious wizard in a family orientated series, you know by, uh, you know, uh. Broly's book description of snape. Uh, okay, here we go.

Speaker 1:

Rowling's book description of snape as a cello skin does, for the record, not mean white, but multiple time bafta nominated. It's sc. No, no, search by voice. Give me the pronunciation. I swear they had like a thing where you could. I swear they had a thing where you could like play it damn bitch, where you can like play it damn bitch. Okay, I don't need all that. Yes, I know, it's papa. I don't like this video. He's fucking explaining shit too much. Just say the fucking name. It says with the sound nigga. Just say the name. God damn, isidu, papa, isidu. Okay, see, look, was that so fucking hard?

Speaker 1:

Isidu has shown across his body of work, from Gangs of London to Lazarus Project, to I May Destroy you, and aptitude for playing darkly charismatic, complex figures that not only aligns him well with the role he's being eyed for, but also the active titan he'll be inheriting from. So there you go, he, he. His previously acting experience shows that he can handle these copies, these types of characters. Granted, I haven't watched any of these, so I can't, I can't say for myself if I believe that to be true, but I don't have a reason to believe they'd be lying. Uh, so, yeah, so there you go.

Speaker 1:

Some harry potter, some harry potter updates. Uh, for the show. All right, moving on. Uh, the neighborhood has been renewed for its eighth and final season over on cbs. Uh, the multicam comedy will end after its eighth season that is going to air during the 25 26 broadcast season. Uh, season 70 is currently on the air. Uh, the brilliant cast, a creative team at the neighborhood led by the inga parable sedge with the entertainer, have brought levity, laughter and poignant storylines to monday nights for seven incredible years. Uh, the neighborhood is a a strong ratings performer of CBS and one of the top comedies on TV. We believe the show's loyal fans deserve a proper farewell season of the trademark humor and heartfelt moments that are synonymous with the series.

Speaker 1:

I have not watched the show at all. I've seen it there, and so, though the Neighborhood will end, there is a good chance the world of the show will continue. It was previously announced that his spinoff is on the characters played by marcel spears, and sean mckinney is currently at the work, so he might be getting a spinoff for any, um any neighborhood fans out there. There's also the spinoff series crutch at paramount plus star and tracy morgan was expected to launch later this year. Is that also a spinoff from the from the show? Uh, the neighborhood is one of the few shows not mentioned when cbs picked up nine shows for a new season in february.

Speaker 1:

Uh, the neighborhood, this late in its run, was a primary factor in the decision to end this series. Uh, the freshman comedy, papa's house, is still awaiting, where, on season two, that probably ain't gonna happen. Uh, you're not saying that it's not good, but I don't know. You know it's too black people. So, who knows? I've heard absolutely nothing about papa's house, uh, but they also went on equalizer and watson as well. So there you go. Okay, I literally just know this show because such a thing is in it. All right.

Speaker 1:

And next up we have, uh, hey guys, guess what tiger woods movie is set at amazon mgm, with obama's higher ground and king richard's ronaldo marcus green circling. So there you go, ronaldo marcus green. So you're gonna be. Is that king richard? King richard is the. Uh, king richard is the. The movie about serena and venus. Right, who's ronaldo marcus green? Cliff is like, oh, he must have been the main character there, but no, that was um will smith, my dumb ass. Uh, he's a director and producer, so I guess he's probably, he's probably gonna be on the behind the camera to do something. Okay, breaking news on geek visions. There you go.

Speaker 1:

Uh, so eric stone street joins dexter reservations for a major arc. Uh, bitch, what the hell. Uh, bitch, what the hell. Motherfucker's like. Oh, you got your ad blocker on, so we gonna we gonna burn a text on your dumb ass. I'm not gonna turn that ad blocker off. Okay, can I actually read this story? You know, fuck it, I can read it enough.

Speaker 1:

Emmy winner. Emmy winner eric stone street of minor family is the latest big name added to the cast of showtime's new drama dexter resurrections, which includes a new chapter from moxie hall serial killer dexter morgan uh. In a high profile guest arc he will play al. The character who shares kansas city, native stone street's midwestern background, is believed to be a serial killer. He is set to appear in four episodes.

Speaker 1:

I hear stone street joins other big names tap for the guest uh starring series on this resurrection as rumors here. Because includes christian ritter I did not know that and Neil Patrick Harris. That's pretty damn cool. So this is going to be like a multi. He's going to have like multi arcs of dealing with other serial killers, huh? Or are they all being like connection with each other? In addition to Hall we already know James Remar, david Zayas, jack Alcott, uma Thurman, peter Dinklage all coming in. I can't read these other names Set for a summer launch of Paramount Plus with Showtime.

Speaker 1:

It will follow recent prequel series Dexter Original Sin. And there you go. So cool. The guy Stone Street for Modern Family family is joining dexter resurrection. So that should be pretty cool. I didn't know dill patrick harrison fucking christian ritter in this either. That's cool. All right, both of them all right.

Speaker 1:

And for our last story on uh tv uh, as cbs renews one show, cbs gets rid of one show. Swat has been canceled again. So SWAT will not return for a ninth season. Cbs announced Thursday evening the network has canceled the uncanceled show twice before Heartbreaking news, primarily because it's been such a bitch, such a mispleasure working with the cast and crew to put on the show we've been proud of. Showrunner Andrew Detman said in a statement. They are truly an extraordinary group of people who have all worked so hard and have been so dedicated for all eight seasons, overcoming countless challenges. I can't give them enough credit. I mean, hey for you to get canceled twice and still go on for eight damn seasons. That's pretty damn good. Cbs canceled. What the fuck why I keep doing this? Cbs canceled swat after season six of 2023, then reversed its decision and built the seventh season as it shows last. Then, in april 2024, the network surprised fans with a last minute renewal for an eighth installment.

Speaker 1:

Here in cbs we always stay liquid. What the fuck and love a good, dramatic twist, especially when it leads to an eighth season of swat. What the real fuck did you just it's like motherfucker wrote this was like, hey, I need to, we need to be able to use this. Like somebody in the office like, hey, you know, at cbs we stay liquid. Somebody was like, damn, we got to get this out to the public. We need to like, evolve. This is some kind of statement. You know, at CBS we stay liquid. Somebody was like, damn, we got to get this out to the public. We need to like, evolve this to some kind of statement. You know what I'm saying? Hey, let's cancel SWAT. But they said we not cancel SWAT. And then we could say we stay liquid over here at CBS. Give a good dramatic twist.

Speaker 1:

Swat is based on the 1975 ABC series of the same name. Stars Shamar Moore as Daniel Hondo Har. 1975 abc series the same name. Star shamar moore as daniel hondo, harrelson, sean ryan and deadman, executive producer justin lennon, a bunch of other people. Um, yeah, so there you go. Um, we'll wait and see if this is just another damn swerve and if the cbs boardroom came up with some other the name they thought was so damn catchy and cool that they have to use it in the statement and to renew a SWAT. So there you go All right.

Speaker 1:

So that is it for this edition of News Drop, at least in terms for the audio realm, because you already know, trailers are coming up next. So if you are listening, thank you all so much. I very much appreciate you listening. Make sure you follow on all the platforms Spotify, apple Podcasts, amazon, pandora, whatever. Wherever you listen to your podcast, we's probably on there. And if you're listening, head on over to the YouTube and get some time and watch the video portion and check out some of these trailers you're about to watch. So also leave your boy a review. Let me know how I'm doing so in terms of my audio listeners. Thank you all so much. Always remember stay watching, stay playing, stay awesome, stay and stay safe out there. All right, so all the listeners until next time. I will see you all later. Good bye.
