Hello, all you awesome people out there, welcome, or welcome back to Geekvisions Entertainment, the place dedicated, or at least tries to be dedicated, to the big three of visual media film, video games and television. I'm your host, as always, hoover, and God damn, it's been a minute. It's been a minute, ain't it? It's been a while, I know. I know Guess what that's on me, that's Guess what that's on me. That's my fault, that's on me.
Speaker 1:This is a brand new news drop, a news drop. I've had written for like two, three weeks. I keep having to tweak. Luckily, we're in a very, very slow time for all our stuff. It's just January, fuck niggas, just January. You know, you know, fuck niggas just got put in office, but we ain't gonna talk too much about that. Goddamn, the fucking world is just crazy. Yeah, the West Coast was on fire, the South and the East was freezing. Fucking terrorist attacks, god damn, plane crashes and shit. Y'all see that shit. That shit's crazy. But yeah, 2025 is off to a raveling. Just a spontaneously great start so far, but anywho, yeah. So this is our news drop, covering news stories from January. But before we drop into all that, I of course I got a little bit of an update just to kind of explain where the hell I've been as of late. So yeah, it's been quite a bit.
Speaker 1:First and foremost, the most important thing, the biggest thing, the thing that originally took me out and had me on silent for a minute I built a PC. That's not it. This is my old Mac. That's old and outdated as hell. This isn't it. But I built the PC. I spent like a week building it, the first time I've ever done it. This isn't it, but I built the PC. I spent like a week building it, the first time I've ever done it. This is it. Hold on, we're going to try to this. Is it right here? That's it right there. Not a lot of RGB on it, because Shit, it was my first time building one in my monitor. It was my first time building one in my monitor. It was my first time building one. So I heard RGB can get. Hold on, let me get y'all straight here. I heard RGB can be pretty damn complicated, so I elected against it. Yeah, I'm doing so. I don't want to knock the bitch over. I heard RGB can be pretty complicated, so I elected against getting too much RGB in there. I built the PC. It was pretty cool. It was fun, first time I've ever done it.
Speaker 1:But your boy has a PC now. The plans were to build the PC. I get it done. I get everything good. I can start gaming on it, I can start streaming on it, I can start doing my news drops on it, and then the technical difficulties started up.
Speaker 1:For some reason, Neither my webcam nor the Elgato connects to it. I don't know what it is. Is my USB 3 ports? I don't know what it is. It's just not getting recognized by any of them. So if anybody can give me a quick fix on those, that would be. That would be fantastic. So unfortunately, I couldn't do those on those, so we had to go back to the old school. I'm on the laptop, so that's what we on here today. So yeah, so all that happened. And then, of course, I had some some vehicular issues that I'm still dealing with right now. So that shit happened. And then I have some personal stuff going on. I had a loss in the family, so I dealt with that. So yeah, it's. It's been a lot of stuff that has kept me away and not being able to do things, but I'm back doing them.
Speaker 1:We're doing this, we're getting back to Dragon Age. I recorded some Dragon Age episodes so those will be going up after this one does. I got the second game we're going to do on the channel. We're going to do Warhammer Space Marine 2. My first Warhammer 40k game, so I'm looking forward to that. But yeah, hopefully I can get this thing with the PC going so I can actually move everything over here and we can do all this on the PC, because that makes it so much easier, so much cooler and I can start doing PC gaming on the channel, because that'll make shit so much easier, so much cooler and I could start doing PC gaming on the channel as well. Maybe you'll start live streaming some stuff too. So we'll get it worked out, we'll figure it out. But anyway, yeah, I figured I should probably get back to recording stuff, get back to doing stuff, so I can get back into full things. You'll have these to start after.
Speaker 1:This is probably going to go a little quiet again, mostly because that first weekend of February not this upcoming weekend, but the next weekend, that first full, actual weekend of February I'm pretty. I got a lot of stuff going on, so I probably won't be doing anything there either, but after that we should be pretty good. So, yeah, my apologies, I'm sorry I've been away for a little bit. I've had like, but I was catching up on shows. I watched Alien Romulus for the first time. It was actually pretty good, I will admit. So, yeah, so now I gotta find something else to do.
Speaker 1:Our new way we're gonna start doing impressions, not reviews, but impressions of find something else to do. Our, uh, our new way we're gonna start doing impressions, not reviews, but impressions of stuff. I'm not doing full, in-depth reviews anymore. So, yes, so that is the update on where I've been on the channel. So in february we'll be back in full speed so we can get back to doing all our all of our good stuff. It will be cool there, uh, but for the meantime, I have some news articles here for you today as we jump back into the grand scheme of things. Um, what we're going to be talking about here? Um, we got an update on the next scream movie and og is returning. We got a bunch of nominations. We've got got the Oscar nominations and of course, we have the Razzie nominations as well. So all of those should be pretty fun.
Speaker 1:On the video game end, we're going to talk about Xbox's Developer Direct, an update on Multiversus, an update on Bioware. Is it good, is it bad? We're going to have to figure it out. Also, I got some old stuff on here too, but it's just because I've been avoiding it to do it for the channel, and as stuff kind of piled up, it kept happening, they just kind of got forgotten. So I still haven't seen or watched anything from these. But it is kind of old news, but I'm still going to talk about it, and one of those first being the fact that the Switch 2 got announced. It's been like three weeks at this point but, like I said, I haven't actually watched the announcement or seen anything from the Switch 2 so far. So I'm going to check that out. I also forgot to put it on our YouTube stuff, so let's add that in there too. Just like I said, I haven't seen anything from it. So we're going to check that out for the first time, finally, so I can see that. Um. And then, on the television side, we've got a couple renewals that happened very recently. Um, we also got an update on netflix it's the Sandman and also an update on Netflix itself.
Speaker 1:So we got a couple of things to talk about here. Like I said, it's not a lot. Honestly, it's not too much. Like I said, some of this is kind of old and, like I said, we're kind of in a slow humdrum of news right now, so that's kind of why I decided to talk about it. All right, let me fix up my trailers and then we will get into it. We fucking God damn, I hate Netflix, is I mean not Netflix? I hate fucking YouTube's, do you? Because that shit works fucking terribly. It's like damn, how is that I'm move shit up and down for it to actually go up and stay? Oh my god, all right, we good, okay, that's good, all right, cool, so let's jump right into the news. Let me change my screens, all right, and there we go, all right.
Speaker 1:So to start things off, matthew Lillard is set to return as Stu Mercer in Scream 7. Physically see a character die on screen, then they are simply not dead. That's very true. In all of our movies, tv and, of course, video games as well. Sometimes you do die and they still come back. In this case, matthew Lillard's screen fan favorite character, stu Mercer, the OG ghost face, seemed pretty dead, but it seems that he is coming back. But, as the madman himself once said, these days you gotta have a sequel. So he is coming back, but as the madman has said, these days, you gotta have a sequel. So, per Deadline's reporting and Matthew Lillard's Instagram, stu Mercer will be back in the upcoming Scream 7. This is what Matthew Lillard posted on Instagram.
Speaker 1:News of Lillard's role reprisal comes hot on the heels of this evening's other casting announcement which I missed, apparently which is the return of another long presumed Ghostface franchise, scott Foley's Scream 3, rangan. Okay, scott Foley's Roman Bridger is coming back as well. I don't know, I don't know, I don't know Scream lore that well, I don't remember anything from Scream 3 either. Alright, so we got those two guys coming back. Stu and Roman's twin Wait what? It's a mystery For all we know. Oh, they could be ghosted. They could be Stu and Roman's twin brothers Back in the day about Stu's twin. But however they factor into Williamson and writer Guy Busick's plans, we'll have no shortage of esteemed company. Of course.
Speaker 1:Already confirmed to be returning for the State of the Storm are Neve Campbell, courtney Cox, mason Gooding and Jasmine Savoy Brown, joined by newcomers McKenna Grace, isabella May, celeste O'Connor, asa German, sam Reichner, anna Campbell, anna Camp, joel McHale and Mark Consuelos. So good news for any old Scream fans. I think Matthew Lillard might be one of those actors who's just universally loved by everybody. Like he's fantastic Between Scream and Scooby-Doo man was even in Five Nights at Freddy's. Everybody loves Matthew Lillard. So yeah, big Matthew Lillard returning back to Scream 7.
Speaker 1:So yeah, like I said, not too much news. I had some other stuff but I was like, eh, it's been so long and they were kind of small, so no news talking about it. So we'll just move on to the big stuff here, and one of those is, of course, like I mentioned, awards season is in the full swing and as much as we talk about the Oscars and the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards and I think Oscars are the Academy Awards what the fuck am I talking about? And you know the BAFTA Awards, the Video Game Awards, celebrating all the good, there's also an award that celebrates just the absolute dog water stuff. The Razzies 2025 has announced the nominations. Joker 2 leads with seven noms. I will not be disabling it, thank you. Joker 2 leads with seven nominations, but also has Joaquin and Lady Gaga up for worst actors, for worst actors, while Madam Weg, madam Weg, madam Web, megalopolis and Regan. I don't even know that one follow with six.
Speaker 1:So while this year's Academy of Nominations are set to be announced Thursday, we got those, after being delayed due to the Los Angeles fires. We mentioned that in the last news drop. The Golden Raspberry Awards got ahead of the Oscars this year, highlighting what the members believed to be the worst in film. We mentioned Joker. We also got. Borderlands is up there too, alright. So for Joker, the musical sequel to Todd Phillips' Joker film, which was Oscar nominated, it landed in worst picture, worst director, screenplay, prequel, remake, rip-off or sequel. Damn. Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix are both up for worst actor and actress, as well as worst screen combo. So they got that. Yeah, we already know that.
Speaker 1:Where are the rest of the nominations at? Let me see those Having a second series of races Be found in 81. Recent honors include a positive for insistent nomination. A shout out to Ryan Kira Archer for her performance. Series of races. They found in 81. Recent dishonors of its include issue name the policy for insistent of nomination to shout out to Ryan Kira Archer for performance in the horror make make fire. So I remember that. And then it, bruce, was stuff to all right. Do they got the list. Okay, here we go. Here are the list of all the numbers. They had a website full release on the really really maintained website. We already here, all right.
Speaker 1:So worst picture We've got Borderlands, joker, follet of Duke, which we mentioned, madam Web, megalopolis and Reagan. Worst actor we have Jack Black and Deer Saddle, zachary Levi and Harold and I forgot that movie even happened Harold and the Purple Crayon. Joaquin Phoenix and Joker 2. Dennis Quaid and Reagan and Jerry Seinfeld in Unfrosted Ain't that the Pop-Tarts movie? For Worst Actress? We got Cate Blanchett for Borderlands. Lady Gaga in Joker 2, bryce Dallas Howard for Argyle, dakota Johnson in Madam Web and Jennifer Lopez in Atlas.
Speaker 1:Supporting Actor Shaq Black in Borderlands. Jack Black in Borderlands. Kevin Hart in Borderlands, shia LaBeouf in Drag they mentioned in Megalopolis. Tahir Rahim, madam Web. John Voight in Megalopolis, reagan oh wow, this nigga's. This nigga's up for three. We're supporting actor for three. Worst supporting actor for three movies, four Megalopolis, reagan, shadowland and Strangers. Damn worst supporting actress. We got Ariana DeBose for Argyle and Craven. Leslie Ann Downs as Margaret Thatcher in Reagan. Emma Roberts in Madam Web I forgot, amy Roberts is in that movie. Amy Schumer in Unfrosted and FKA Twigs in the Crow For director.
Speaker 1:We got SJ Clarkson for Madam Web, francis Ford Coppola, megalopolis, todd Howard, joker 2, eli Roth, borderlands and Jerry Seinfeld for Unfrosted I didn't know he directed that too. Alright, let's go through a couple more. We ain't gonna read. Oh, there's only a couple more left? Alright, cool, we'll go through all of them.
Speaker 1:Worst screen combo, which is, of course, any, what you know. The rest is wild, any, any. Two obnoxious characters, what if I say anybody? Anybody who was paired up at any moment in any time in this entire damn movie is up for an award. But they put special emphasis on especially Jack Black for Borderlands, 82 unfunny comedic actors in a frosted, the entire cast of Megalopolis, joaquin and Gaga for Joker 2 and dennis quay and penelope and miller for reagan. Uh, prequel, remake, ripoff or sequel. We got the crow, joker 2 craving the hunter, mufasa, ripple moon, part 2, the scar giver. And for worst screenplay, we've got joker 2 craving the hunter, megalopolis, madden web and Regan.
Speaker 1:So there are your Razzie nominations. I predict a Joker, I predict a Joker 2 sweep, but I'm not all you're going to say Borderlands might be a dark horse, borderlands might be a dark horse in all this. Yeah, by the way, I think that's the only movie from this I actually saw Basically yeah, that was the only one I actually saw was Borderlands. So there you go. Golden Razzie nominations.
Speaker 1:Alright, moving on to the good stuff, the actual important stuff celebrating the excellence of the film industry. We've got our nominations for this year's Oscar Awards. I'm on right on the actual site, so let's go over them and see what we got. We're going to do a couple, we're not going to do the whole list. So, for a leading actor, we've got Adrian Brody in the Brutalist, timothee Chalamet for A Complete Unknown, coleman Domingo for Sing Sing, ralph Fiennes in Conclave and Sebastian Stan in the Apprentice. For a supporting actor, we've got Yura Borisov in Honora, kieran Cullen in A Real Pain, edward Norton in A Complete Unknown, guy Pearce in the Brutalist and Jeremy Strong in the Apprentice. For our lead actress, we've got Cynthia Erivo in Wicked, carla Sophia Gascon in Emilia Perez, mikey Madison in Onora, demi Moore in the Substance and Fernanda Torres in I'm Still here. For supporting actress, we have Monica Barbaro for Complete Unknown, ariana Grande for Wicked, felicity Jones in the Brutalist, isabella Rossellini in Conclave and Zoe Zaldana in Emilia Perez Animated feature.
Speaker 1:We've got Flow Inside Out 2, memoir of a Snail, wallace and Gromit, vengeance of Most Foul and the Wild Robot. That's cinematography. We've got the Brutalist Doom, part 2, emilio Perez, maria and Nosferatu directing. We have Onora the Brutalist A Complete Unknown, emilio Perez, and the Substance let's see. And then, of course, our big ones. You know the small one before I read the big one, writing. You know what I do writing. I'm a self-proclaimed writer For original screenplay and writing. We've got Anora the Brutalist A Real Pain, september 5th, and the Substance. And then for adaptive screenplay, a Real Pain, september 5th, and the Substance. And then for Adapted Screenplay, a Complete Unknown. Conclave, emilia Perez, nickel Boys and Sing Sing. And, of course, the big ones. For Best Picture, we have Anora the Brutalist A Complete Unknown, complete Unknown. Conclave Dune, part Two Emilia Perez I'm Still here Nickel Boys, the Substance and Wicked. So there are your Oscar nominations for this year. Of course there's a lot of other categories, but I'm not going to read every single one of them. But you go ahead and go to the Oscarsorg and check out all the nominations for yourself if you're interested in seeing every nomination.
Speaker 1:I have made a point. I'm actually going to do this today. I've actually made a point. I want to watch every movie that's up for Best Picture. I've been trying to do this for four years now, but I usually only get to one movie. I want to get through them all. I forget when are the? I should probably figure that shit out. When are the oscars? Oh, here it is sunday, march 2nd 2025. Of course it's going to air on. It usually airs on channel 12. I want to say yeah, so I have to march, so I'm going to watch every movie up for best picture. I haven't seen any of them, but I do want to watch them. The Brutalist, I was pretty sure is going to be here. So the Brutalist Emilia Perez, nickel Boys, the Substance Was that on there?
Speaker 1:Because, remember, we talked about the Golden Globes and we were like it's a good precursor to let you know what movies are probably going to be in a best picture for the Oscar race too. And those were all there. So I want to see all these. There's one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, it's nine, ten movies here. I'm pretty sure I don't have ten weeks, so I might have to watch like two a week, so I might start that today. But anywho, those are our Oscar nominations and that's it for our film portion.
Speaker 1:Now we'll move on to our video game portion, but let me plug up my charger first. Alright, we're back. Moving on to Let me close this, so I can see shit. Push that back. Alright, moving on to let me close this so I can see shit. Push that back. Alright, moving on to video games.
Speaker 1:Alright, to kick things off, microsoft held a developers direct. I think at this point it was like two weeks ago, maybe a week ago. It was about a week ago. So you know, these are one of their little live streams where they showcase all the new games stuff they got coming up. So let's check them out. I haven't seen anything from this at all. So all this is going to be new to me. It's January and that means Xbox held another one of its annual developer direct showcases. Talk about games coming, xbox and Windows.
Speaker 1:We knew a few games would be featured Doom, the Dark Ages and South of Midnight. Let's see some surprise announcements. Each game shown will be available on Game Pass at launch. Nice, if you want to watch the show by yourself, you just have to blow. But for those who just want bullet points, I'm just interested in the bullet points let's start the slideshow. Hopefully I got a trailer attached to all of them too. I'll watch the trailers, but I didn't watch the whole thing.
Speaker 1:Ninja Gaiden 4. I've seen this around a lot Ninja Gaiden 4, team Ninja and Bayonetta developer Platinum Games are working on the new Ninja Gaiden game in the style of the 3D Reboot trilogy that ran from 04 to 12. I had two. I had Ninja Gaiden 2 for 360 back in the day. It will feature two playable characters a returning protagonist, ryu Hayabusa, and a new character named Yakumo, who is following Ryu's footsteps to become a master ninja. Perfect choice. Platinum is the perfect choice. They're known for stylish, fast-paced combat and it launched. Oh, it's coming to PS5 as well, and that's coming this fall. Let's look at the trailer. Sorry for my audio listeners, oh, hold on. Actually, if I'm going to write the trailer, I should probably turn my volume up. There we go.
Speaker 2:Team.
Speaker 3:Ninja, the Dark Dragon's husk remained, and from this husk fell an endless downpour of cursed rain. The abandoned Tokyo continues its struggle against chaos to this day.
Speaker 2:Infiltrated the facility. Commencing mission, I'm going to use the same.
Speaker 1:That's what's really dope. Oh, that'll counter system.
Speaker 2:Ryu Hayabusa. Whatever your clan is plotting, it ends here. So you've come, Raven that should look clean.
Speaker 1:That should look clean. I remember the ninja guiding games being famous for being pretty damn difficult, so so I'm actually surprised it's taking them this long. With the rise of the Souls and Souls-like games, I'm surprised it took them this long to bring it back, if that is what it's known for. Oh, and then it had a launch trailer. After the showcase, team Ninja also announced it's bringing a revamped version of Ninja Gaiden 2 to minor platforms today in the form of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, available on PC and Game Pass, xbox Game Pass.
Speaker 1:This was with the one I had. I think I had, so I think this is the one I had, because he had the multiple. I remember he had the multiple weapons Little claws and a big ass hammer. Did they? Did they put this out the same day? They announced it? That's dope Ninja Gaiden 2 oh, yeah, yeah, it is. It came out the same day I announced it. The Brex oh, okay, here we go. What the fuck? Why is it still playing? Alright? Uh. Next up was a compulsion game showing off it's dark fantasy. Adventure South Amanda I've been very excited about this showed off protagonist Hazel's nature-based magic and how she utilized it in fighting monsters that are inspired by Southern folklore in the game Southern Gothic Aesthetic. I'm here for it and it's coming April 8th. I'm excited for this one In three minutes. We're going to play this real quick.
Speaker 3:That's slower that time at the shelter. Now you want to bring this up right now. I'm just saying, hazel, please, we might need some help. I might need some help while you're out helping everybody else damn, that's how I go.
Speaker 4:Right after the argument they gone the trailer got swept downstream with mama in it and I. It ain't just about mama. They gone, no ain't no way.
Speaker 2:It ain't every day I hear about a new Weaver such as yourself. What are you?
Speaker 3:talking about.
Speaker 1:You can't see strides, can't you? Any train Weaver ought to be able to rescue her in mama's ease. I can teach you the rest.
Speaker 3:Best man to work.
Speaker 2:Lost in a crowd, you feel your thoughts out loud Can.
Speaker 4:I help you, son. You know anything about that creepy old house up on the hill. Yeah, that was once the home of Hug and Molly.
Speaker 2:Wait is Hug and Molly real. All this story is a real darling. Send all your breath till you're gone.
Speaker 3:We've been fixated deep down. They've been parts of your soul.
Speaker 2:So ripped.
Speaker 1:This is very well done, oh dear.
Speaker 3:You've been keeping secrets. This is your life.
Speaker 2:Now there's no, tomorrow, it's here, it's all here.
Speaker 1:Southman, I'm excited. I'm excited for that one. Honestly, I might actually buy this instead of just get it on Game Pass. Got to support the new, smaller studio there. Yeah, I'm excited for that one. That one looks really dope. I've been excited for that one since they announced it. Claire Upscore, expedition 33. I just recently got turned on to this. This one also looks really dope. Give us a quick break between all the action. Sandfall Interactive showed off Claire Upscore, expedition 33. I'm just going to call it Expedition 33. As the name implies. To call it Expedition 33. As the name implies, the turn-based RPG follows an expedition of people in a French-based fantasy world that is ruled over by a malevolent goddess who is able to kill people over a certain age. Expedition 33 marries real-time and turn-based combat, though it seems it will be highly customizable for. Those who prefer to keep the real-time elements to a minimum can do so. Oh, that's cool. Launches on April 24th for PC, playstation and Xbox. Rated Mature.
Speaker 2:What a motherfucker look like robert pattinson from the ones who came before and they betray him the ones who come after wait, I hear something.
Speaker 1:Does he not look like Robert Pattinson, anybody else? Oh shit, my bad, oh shit my bad. This looks really good too.
Speaker 2:We need to cross the sea. Bulger said you could help. All right, ready to sail like a snake. What the fuck Better way to travel? You're firing. We're going to take down the. Patriots just the three of us. I didn't take you for a coward. I'm not a coward.
Speaker 1:I think the Gumbroki's gonna hate it, cause it's French. Cause it's French and it's one guy and two women. That shit looks dope. April 24th God damn, that's like two weeks after South of Midnight, brother. Why is this music going? Why is this music going so fucking hard? That music at the end was fucking hard. That music at the end was fucking hard. What the fuck? That shit was dope. This looks really good too. That shit looked dope.
Speaker 1:Doom the Dark Ages. This was the big thing that came out of this press conference. Closing out the show was an extended look at Doom the Dark Ages. The game is a prequel to 2016's Doom and takes place in a hellscape that feels both futuristic and middle ages, a fusion that's also reflected in the game's medieval style, weapons and mayhem. The shield saw, which basically functions like a Captain America shield with a bow saw attachment, was the star of the show. It uses to deflect attacks or throw at enemies and watch it slice into them as you close in with your shotgun. Developer id Software also showed off giant mech and dragon combat and a half-handed to the Doom series, and knows how to capture middle school binder access and make it work. This is coming out May 15th.
Speaker 1:I've never played the recent Doom games. They're on Game Pass so I'm going to have to give them a run. I was going to play them early but I was in the midst of a lot of first-person shooters. When I first got Game Pass, I played Halo for the first time. I replayed Gears, so I was going to be playing a lot of shooters. I was like, eh, I'll take another break. But I got to play the Doom games. Oh, shit, this. But I got to play the doom games. Oh, shit is off for last video.
Speaker 3:Who about this in point five? Hello and welcome to Dallas, texas, home of in software. When, more than 30 years ago, a small team of game developers helped define and set a course for first-person shooters, did they make?
Speaker 1:No, that was Machine Games.
Speaker 4:that did the Wolfenstein, new games remain a priority for us to this day and, as you're about to see, those values are infused in every aspect of this latest installment in the legendary Doom franchise. It is an honor to work on this game to carry on its tradition of creating all-out, groundbreaking levels of fun.
Speaker 3:So now we're excited to share with you a look at our most ambitious game yet.
Speaker 4:This is Doom the Dark Ages. That was so stupid. I mouthed the words In Doom the Dark Ages. You will feel like the super weapon in the center of a medieval war against hell, set in a cinematic sci-fi fantasy world full of locations to explore powerful weapons to win and enemies to conquer.
Speaker 4:This is a prequel to Doom 2016, and that's given us the opportunity to reimagine every aspect of this experience. So if you're new to the franchise, then Doom the Dark Ages will be the perfect entry point into the series, and if you're a longtime fan, then you'll be proud to see. In a lot of ways the feel of the game is really returned to form. So let's break it down. Starting with the combat. In Doom Eternal, you felt like a fighter jet. In Doom the Dark Ages, you'll be an iron tank Heavy, strong but still fast system, with an emphasis on power over the acrobatics of doom eternal and a balance between enemy projectiles and player movement speed that makes strafing to aim viable again, just like in the classic doom games.
Speaker 4:But it's not all about nostalgia. Innovation is the goal always, and so for doom the dark ages, it's an all-new world with new tools and new mechanics to master. Let me introduce you to the shield song block, throw, parry, deflect all from one input. It's contextual, tons of depth on a single button press. You know we want every Doom game to stand on its own as a unique experience, so in 2016, we asked you to run and gun. In Doom Eternal, it was jump and shoot and in Doom, the Dark Ages. You're gonna stand and fight.
Speaker 1:Hey, I like that.
Speaker 4:And the shield saw will give you the strength to go head-to-head with some of hey, I like that, nice, totally awesome. And you can finish off the demons now with an all-new, unsynced, completely in player's control, glory kill system From any angle, in and out, as you see fit, and it feels amazing. You'll feel unstoppable, smashing your way through the board with total freedom. And that seems like a ton. But that's just two inputs. We got one more really important button that we haven't talked about yet the trigger. That's right, we've saved the best for last.
Speaker 4:Doom has and always will be all about the guns, and dark ages has some of the most ridiculously powerful weapons that we've ever created. Me ancient, brutal torture machines built to butcher, impale and shred the minions of Hellwild, only in Dune. That's the mission statement for the design of these never-before-seen, insanely fun-to-use tools of mayhem that only the Slayer has the power to wield. So let's take a look at some extended gameplay footage and see how these medieval mechanics synergize with the enemies and the environments to form the new combat loop for Dune the Dark Ages.
Speaker 1:I know like the music was a big thing about it.
Speaker 3:I see they're keeping that in there and under the hood.
Speaker 1:for the first time in a mid game, we've made our combat more approachable and flexible than ever before, with a new difficulty system. Hello, we got a fair. Go up a little bit.
Speaker 4:Exploration, where you go, who you fight and the objectives you pursue.
Speaker 4:It's a doomed sandbox full of war and riches.
Speaker 4:Once you've broken the enemy assault, head back to to the main gates, because the battle isn't over yet, and the soundtrack to your epic adventures will be composed by the award-winning team at Finishing Move, providing you with a metal soundscape that's loaded with guitars, medieval vibes and pure adrenaline. You'll feel like you're expanding the legend of the Slayer with every mission you complete. And, speaking of that legend, the story of Doom the Dark Ages, like everything else in the game, is big. It's a summer blockbuster event with everything on the line and you are the star of the show. Your power is coveted by your enemies and withheld from your allies, with the Slayer imprisoned at the start of our story, the balance of power between good and evil is shifting and time is running out. It's a new story and the perfect entry point for new players. It's easier to access now, as we've taken the narrative out of the codex and into the cutscenes, featuring new characters, old allies and powerful new villains, and for returning players, it leads directly into the Doom 2016 Slayer's Testaments.
Speaker 2:It to the Doom 2016 Slayers Testaments. It's an action story worthy of the Slayers legend.
Speaker 1:So it seemed like if I want to play them, I should just wait until this comes out, play this and then just play the series. From there it gets to 2016, then Eternal. Oh, they were Wolfenstein.
Speaker 3:But that is for you to decide. When Doom to Dark Ages releases this week.
Speaker 1:Okay, they did do the Wolfenstein games. I love the remade Wolfenstein games. Those are so fucking fun. Alright, is that it? Yep, that's it. So that was about everything from the developer direct good shit on there. I make those all look good. South of Midnight looks good, expedition 33 looks dope and, of course, doom of the Dark Ages is great. Steam players they don't buy Spider-Man 2 on PC until this phase. Uh oh, uh, oh. That's too damn bad.
Speaker 1:Alright, next up some more recent news on this one here. Multiverses is officially shutting down. I think we all knew this, though I think deep down inside, we all knew this was going to happen. So Multiverses is coming to an end. After rumors began to circulate on Thursday that the game could wrap up after Season 5, it's been announced that Multiverses is shutting down. In a post on social media and the game could wrap up after Season 5, it's been announced that Multiverses is shutting down In a post on social media and the game's website, warner Bros Games and Player First Games announced that Season 5 will serve as the final update for Multiverses.
Speaker 1:The season will run from February 4th to May 30th. After that day, the game will be taken offline, with the game only playable in an offline state. At that point, there will be an option to play multiverses offline via the local gameplay mode, either solo against AI opponents or with up to three friends. To do this, you'll need to install and download the latest version of the game and log in during Season 5, anytime between February 4th and May 30th, by 9am Pacific Standard. After logging in, a local save file will be automatically created, connected to your PlayStation, microsoft, steam or Epic account, allowing you to enjoy the game offline with all earned and purchased content. Starting today, january 31st, real money transactions will no longer be available in the game. Everything, including the two new characters, akame and Lola Bunny, will be unlockable by playing the game. Lastly, once Season 5 ends on May 30th, the game will no longer be able to download from any marketplace. As far as the future developer of Player First Games is concerned, there's currently unknown. Wb Games acquired the studio in July of 2024.
Speaker 1:I did answer more not made lightly. All of us said, okay, yeah, let's go straight to that. So, yeah, I think, deep down, we all knew. Of course, this is probably not really anything new coming from this. Remember, this launched last year. It launched last year, but then it took the service off. It kind of was like, maybe like a beta or some shit, I don't know. But it launched last year and then they took it away and it was like, hey, we're going to take it offline, we're going to take it off marketplaces, we're going to take the game back, we're going to work on it a little bit more, we're going to expand it and do all this good shit and then we're going to be back next year with the full game. And then it came too much pause phrasing. But yeah, apparently the game released and it seemed like I heard that the game was actually worse when it came back as opposed to when it first launched, which was weird. But yeah, kind of a weird one here. This is definitely a weird one.
Speaker 1:I feel like multiverses, of course a lot of Smash clones tend to not do well, because Smash just has that whole thing unlocked. It's why they're called Smash Clones. But yeah, I figured WB with DC and Looney Tunes and Cartoon Network and of course, scooby-doo, hanna-barbera, game of Thrones, I figured WB with all that stuff would actually be able to make characters interesting. I say I have like a good roster of characters to make the game viable and make people stick around, but apparently not. So most versus is shutting down. All right.
Speaker 1:Next up we've got this. One is one that kind of hurts my heart here, one that I'm kind of invested because, you know, I love Bioware. I'm a big Bioware fan, so this one is a little worrying. So Bioware hit with layoffs as it shifts to the next Mass Effect. The studio reportedly now has fewer than 100 staffers After laying off around two dozen staffers and shifting to different projects at EA. The change follows the studio's Bioware's own studio update published this week, where GM Gary McKay said the studio has worked diligently over the past few months to match many of our colleagues with other teams at EA that had open roles. According to Bloomberg, dozens of staffers have been loaned out to other teams at EA after the release of Dragon Age, the Veil Guard, apparently Lerm learned this week that those shifts would be permanent, so some people weren't fired, they were just moved to other teams within EA.
Speaker 1:Mckay said that as a core team at the studio is developing the next Mass Effect game, which got a teaser from them over four years ago. I still stand by it. I still stand by the fact that they announced that shit far too early. They released all moves about that game far too fucking early. I think a new rule game developers should live by is unless you have the game up to a state where you can start actually showcasing shit, and within the next two to maybe even four years you can have the game out and ready, don't show anything, especially after everything with Cyberpunk 2077 at launch, the motherfucker had a fucking first announcement trailer 12 years before the shit came out and it was still ass. So unless you got the game ready and you got to actually showcase some shit and the game is on track to come out within the next two to four years, don't show anything. Just shut the fuck up and keep working on your game.
Speaker 1:Mckay didn't mention layoffs. Boomer put it at. Bioware had more than 200 people Two years ago. Last week EA did this and that thing Significantly missed expectations. Ea Sports FC hasn't done well, as expected during EA's fiscal year. Ek didn't immediately respond to a new request For comment. Ign also reported this week At Layoffs at Bioware. Yeah, this part didn't have it, but um for comment. Ign also reported this week at layoffs at Bioware. Yeah, this part didn't have it, but so yeah, apparently they mentioned the fact that Veil Guard missed expectations. The game possibly sold 1.5 million during the quarter and down nearly 50% from the company's expectations, which, by the way, is kind of wild. That means that they were looking for at least 3 million units, which is honestly kind of crazy, especially when you think, like it's been 10 years since Inquisition, which, yes, does leave a lot of room for new people to jump on and get introduced to the series, but at the same time's been 10 years since Inquisition, which, yes, does leave a lot of room for new people to jump on and get introduced to the series, but at the same time, it's 10 years.
Speaker 1:People will get into it and then completely forget about it, unless they're like long-time fans or diehards like me, who have, of course, been waiting for this for a while, or some people who've just gotten into the game, because I see a lot of people who've been trying this game out for the first time the Dragon Age series out, I mean, for the first time either because Veilguard just came out and they're learning that it's actually the fucking fourth entry in the series, or it's just people naturally moving over after they experienced Mass Effect for the first time with the Legendary Edition. I've seen a lot of people make those connections. They just go over to Dragon Age after they got into Mass Effect for the first time and then of course you have the Go Wookiees, go Brokies, dog Piling on the Game, which is of course, going to hurt. There are people out here Games are $70. They're very expensive. So somebody's just waiting. It's two things. Somebody's waiting just for to see if a game is worth $70.
Speaker 1:And you got a bunch of people who they may follow and they may like and they put a lot of faith in their word and they say that it's fucking woke trash and you shouldn't even bother with it. They're gonna avoid it. That's what it is. If you got a, if you got a whole room full of people telling you his ass, you're gonna be, you're gonna be turned off by it, and um. And then the uh. Second thing is people are just hoping to hate shit. Like we all know, on the internet, hating things is the fucking cool thing right now. So of course, once everybody fucking dog-powered onto the game to hate on it, everybody else did and apparently you know the fucking sales number said half of the motherfuckers who were fucking hating on it probably didn't even play the shit to begin with.
Speaker 1:I've been playing it. It's not the greatest game. It's like a solid six or a seven. It's a solid six to a solid seven. I see how it is once I get to like the very end, but it's a fun game. The combat's really cool, the environments are gorgeous, the exploration is really cool. Like I mentioned, the environments and everything is really dope. A lot of the outfits and the weapon skins and the very look of the weapons is also really dope. Yeah, some of the characters are pretty hit and miss. The writing isn't the strongest, but also, if you're a long-time fan who's really into the lore, there have been some fucking massive lore revelations happening in this game Like some fucking lore. History changing shit within the world of this game has been going down in this game and it's super fucking dope. So, yeah, it's a solid 6 to a 7 for me.
Speaker 1:It's not Bioware's best, but it sure. The fuck isn't an anthem and it might. Like I said, depending on how the fucking game ends. It seems like right now it's already better than fucking Andromeda. So it's better than the shit we've been getting from Bioware. Again, it's not the greatest, but it's still fun. It's still a good game. I think it's on sale at Amazon right now like 45% off, and I would highly recommend if anybody's been on the fence about getting it. If you're worried about spending 70 bucks to get it, it's on sale, it's 45% off on Amazon for PS5. Get it, so you're going to check it out and actually come to a conclusion for yourself, and if you didn't like it then it's not hurting your wallet so much. You got it when the shit was on sale.
Speaker 1:So there's my little tangent about that the fact that one BioWare veteran, mike Dara, basically predicted this before this shit happened, as he explained that BioWare is entering for the first time in the company's history where they have one singular project that they're focusing on. And oh yeah, they got one project that's focused on Mass Effect. It's the next Mass Effect, it's Mass Effect 5. So he mentioned that like hey, the team might get smaller because we aren't working on two projects at the same time. They're just going to be focused on Mass Effect. So they didn't mention that. They also didn't mention the fact that some Dragon Age veterans also got let go. Some people actually did get let go. They didn't just move to other teams in EA. Some people actually did get let go and some Dragon Age veterans were a part of that. So some people are worried that Dragon Age might be done at the series as a whole because they let some of these veteran people go.
Speaker 1:But the biggest thing was the fact that somebody within this mentioned the fact that this isn't bad news. It's actually like Mass Effect, where it is right now, doesn't need a full team of staffers to work on it. So that's why they devalued the team and put people in different spots in EA because they are at a point where they don't need a full team to work on it right now. So this could be good. It could be like, hey, the next Mass Effect is still on the road, it's still in line, where we want it to be, we just don't need a full staff. We are going to immediately jump to start developing this. We still got some things we got to work out, but everything is still on track and, of course, people didn't. A lot of people still didn't lose their jobs, they just got moved else. Or this could be a very bad sign where EA was like, hey, we've kind of let y'all for 10 years work on that.
Speaker 1:Dragon Age Remember I mentioned in my video, is it Byward's Last Chance? I mentioned that the direction for the Dragon Age changed direction like three times and eventually EA was like hey, so we let y'all take out the live service shit. We didn't do that, we didn't put that in the game, we let y'all do your own thing, and then y'all underperformed. So it might be EA showing that they don't have trust in Bioware anymore. So they might be trying to be a little bit more hands-on in the next Mass Effect. But we'll have to wait and see what this all eventually leads to, when we eventually get more news on this next Mass Effect.
Speaker 1:I feel like we're saying this all the time about everything, but this very much could mean this all could be leading to signs to say that Mass Effect 5 could very much be the make or break for Bioware. They could be entering Ubisoft territory right now. They might be in Ubisoft territory right now. They might be in Ubisoft territory right now and this next Mass Effect. If this Mass Effect isn't a definitive win, it could be Bioware's last chance.
Speaker 1:And I'm not going to lie, I'm worried about other shit too, because it failed to meet expectations and they realized maybe it didn't do it because the fucking fuck nigga go, go go boat crowd got into it and that might be the really the big reason why it didn't work. And then they fucking roll back on a lot of shit to try to make it appeal more to that crowd. That'd be it. That'd be sad, like imagine if mass effect 3 came out now and mass effect 3 had a huge campaign where they wanted to showcase FemShep for the first fucking time. By the way, I'm worried that you know, if that happened, muffles would be oh, mass Effect is woke, fucking FemShep. Femshep is ugly and not fuckable. I don't want to play it Like what the fuck are we talking about?
Speaker 1:Alright, but next up, this is very old, of course. This is January 16th. This happened, but I didn't see any of it. So this is my first time actually reading and looking up on this. But Nintendo announced the Switch 2 officially the worst kept secret in gaming. I'm not going to spend too much time here. This is all old news, but it's new to me so we're going to read through it. So, at the most, speculation, a ton of leaks, of course, switch 2 and Nintendo officially announced a new console with the YouTube short video. So it gets a new hardware. We'll watch that later. I also gave our first glimpse of what could possibly be Mario Kart 9. Okay, the real line is up with earlier leaks, nintendo was preparing to show off the Switch after going all 24 to 2024 without anything, and it's called the Switch 2 instead of some weird shit like the Switch, like Nintendo's the Switch as well.
Speaker 1:The trailer showed off a bigger, sleek upgrade to the 2017 hardware. Joy cards are black instead of red and blue. The right one has a new mysterious C button. They attach it to the screen, which is larger. It's a smaller bezel and it's magnetic instead of with a fucking rail system, which is cool, so you don't have to worry about your fucking shit getting stuck or slipping off like the original Switch. We'll watch this later. We've already spent a lot of time watching videos Appears to show an upgraded Joy-Con moving like a PC gaming mouse. Uh-oh, it's a new optical tracking gameplay. The company also rated it to.
Speaker 1:Switch 2 will play Switch games, which is cool, because I literally bought a Switch like four months ago, barely played. That shit Comes after weeks of allegations. Of course, we'll see what it could do, because Switch 1 lost for Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey was a major seller. One thing that might help is the steady drumbeat of third party ports from Xbox and Ubisoft. That's actually very true. Could the Switch 2 benefit from having fucking Halo on the bitch, some Assassin's Creed games being on this thing? I don't know if Assassin's Creed released on the original Switch, so that's cool. I ain't going to spend too much time on this. We'll watch this video later. This is all new to me. But yeah, switch 2 finally revealed. Is there a date? I guess we'll find out in the trailer. Alright, that is it for our video game portion. Now we will move on into television Again.
Speaker 1:Not too much here, kind of some older news, but you know, whatever. First off, uma Thurman joins Dexter Resurrections at Paramount+. It's been four years since Dexter Morgan put on ice during the dramatic climax of Dexter Morgan put on ice during the dramatic climax of Dexter New Blood, because I watched that the Paramount Postal Showcase's prequel, original Sin, is already proving to be a hit with fans and critics and production is already underway for Dexter Resurrections, a present-day sequel. Why can't they do it now, set after New Blood's trigger happy ending? I still wonder how they're going to pull this off. But it's been announced that Oscar and Emmy-nominated actress Uma Thurman, who has recently lent her talents to Paul Strait's upcoming Richard Gere and Jacob Elordi of Canada Okay, goddamn motherfucker, she's joining Dexter Resurrections Goddamn Motherfucker's going little wordy as hell on that one. So, yeah, this is cool.
Speaker 1:Plot specifics for the series remain under wraps, but with the series set to air this summer original Sin Son, the series for our main man Destined to Cheat Death once again. And Uma Thurman adds some serious star power to the show, um, they're putting more spinoffs. And with multiple, thurman adds some serious star power to the show. Are there plenty more spin-offs? And with multiple further spin-offs to the DTU Dexter Televisual Universe what the fuck? Okay, that's not Showtime, let's chill out. Okay, we don't need this. We don't need this many Dexter spin-offs. Okay, you're going to milk the hell out of it.
Speaker 1:We all know the original ending to the show was complete doo-doo, dog water. Original Sin was actually very good. It was actually very damn good. I watched it. It was pretty goddamn good.
Speaker 1:I haven't watched Original Sin. I'm not going to lie. I'm not a prequel guy. I don't like going back on shit. That's why I haven't like going back on shit. That's why I haven't watched House of the Dragon. I'm not interested in prequels, I don't care what came before, I care about what happens next. I am more excited about this one. Then I'm interested to see how the fuck this nigga lived after the damn original Sin ending.
Speaker 1:We reported last time on the news drop, like two months ago, the kid who played Harrison in New Blood is coming back. Who played the dad in the original series and who played Batista in the original series are all coming back as well. Oh, it says it right there David Zayas, james Remar and Jack Alcott. There we go. Detective Angel Batista, dexter's father Harry Harry and his son Harrison are all coming back. So we'll see what Uma Thurman's role and what she will play in there as well. All right, next up, real quick. We got a trio of renewals coming from the Hollywood Reporter.
Speaker 1:Netflix has renewed the Lincoln Lawyer for season four, david E Kelly's legal drama starring Manuel Garcia Rolfo as Mickey Hall, in return for another round of the court conducted from his landmark Lincoln car. Wait, is that why it's called the Lincoln Lawyer? Because he drives a Lincoln Like? I thought this was about Abraham Lincoln. What the fuck? Abraham Lincoln in Los Angeles. Let me see what the hell, this is Okay. Season four will compromise 10 episodes and will be based off the sixth book in the Lincoln Lawyers series by Michael Conley the Law of Innocence. Okay, the show follows Mickey Haller as an iconoclastic idealist who runs his law practice out of the backseat of his Lincoln as it takes on Case's biggest ball across Los Angeles. That is why it's called the Lincoln Lawyer Bitch.
Speaker 1:What the fuck this shit going for four seasons? I guess there's an audience for it. Alright, so there you go. News to me. This shit going for four seasons. I guess there's an audience for it. All, right, so there you go, news to me. I just put it because it was up there. I was like, oh, we got a bunch of news, I'll put it on there. I don't know what the fuck this shit was, but unlike that, I know exactly what this Shit. That shit's funny. Hey, buddy, I think he's trying to put this case on there. You feel like you got unlawfully fired. Step into my office, motherfucker. Just open this back door. Flex this shit. Step on in, step on in, alright, abba.
Speaker 1:Elementary scores a season 5 renewal. I will not at ABC two of its three most watched episodes of 2024 and 2012 in January. No surprise here. Abba Elementary is, of course, one of the most successful new shows on TV. I guess it's not new anymore. It's four seasons deep. Now it's a vet. It's in its senior year.
Speaker 1:The network has ordered a fifth season of Abbott, the Emmy-winning comedy from Quentin Brunson. It comes midway through the show's fourth season, on the heels of the show's most-watched episode of its first season. That had to be the crossover episode with it's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. They had a crossover with it's Always Sunny very recently, so that's cool. So good news for that. I love this show. I gotta catch up. I'm so far behind, but yeah, this show deserves it. This show is fucking phenomenal.
Speaker 1:Alright, and our final renewal here, this one I don't know, unlike the Lincoln lawyer, I've actually seen ads for this. It's one of those fucking you know crime drama shows that has a very quirky protagonist. It's a. It's a. You know how we got Doom clones and we got Smash clones. This is a Monk clone. That's exactly that's what this is. It could be a show older, that kind of has that whole thing, but that's what I'm calling it because that's what I'm familiar with. It's a monk clone. It's a crime drama, police procedural with a very kooky, out of character, out of place protagonist. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with somebody having very high potential.
Speaker 1:After living up to its potential through the first half of this season, abc's high potential is getting a second Network renewed the Caitlin Olsen-led drama for a second season. High potential has been a breakout for ABC, ranking them on the top first-year shows of 24-25. So far, first two episodes averaged better than 10 mil. That's nice. Part of the episode's audience has grown more than 30 million in the four months since the debut. Nice, can you tell me what it is? It doesn't tell me what it is, it just shows who's a part of it. Alright, whatever. So yeah, if you're a fan of that, if you're a fan of high tension, high potential, I mean it's coming back for a second season, so no need to be afraid. I think they announced that.
Speaker 1:So I learned why a lot of people were disappointed which I see, because it's right here why people were disappointed with Squid Game, because apparently season 2 is just a massive setup for season 3. As I just learned, because I think it's been announced recently, season 3 release date came out not too long ago. So I was like what the fuck? Season 3? Season 2 just came out, because I haven't watched it yet.
Speaker 1:Speaking of Netflix, though, I will not be disabling it. Netflix is raising its prices in the US again. This is a little older, but I wanted to bring it up to make sure people are in the know. Netflix is increasing its subscription prices in the US and other markets, including the first hike on its ad-supported plan. So you were already paying the lowest one and having to deal with fucking ads, but you were cool with it because it was the cheapest one. But guess what? Even that shit's going up. By the way, I had another story that connected with this one, but for some reason the link is dead now. But Netflix very recently crossed 30 million subscribers, or some shit like that 30 million subscribers. I think Squid Game itself had crossed 300 million hours of watch or something.
Speaker 1:Squid Game season two really put Netflix up into the green. Somehow, despite reaching these brand new heights and getting all these brand new subscribers, they still decided to boost up the the green. Somehow, despite reaching these brand new heights and getting all these brand new subscribers, they still decided to boost up the damn price. The ad out as a rise by $2.50, going for $15.49 to $17.99 per month. It's been three years since Netflix upped the price of standard tier, which provides two simultaneous HD streams, so we got the oh wait, hold on what was that? Okay, I'm sorry. The standard plan without ads is going from $15.50 to basically $18. The ad free tier is going up from $7.99 to $6.99, and then the premiumfree tier is going up from $7.99 to $6.99. And then the premium tier will be going up from $25 a month up $2. So it was $22.99. That's crazy what the cost of adding an extra member to a primary account is increasing from 70 to wow, this motherfucker is getting real greedy. This motherfucker is getting real greedy to barely be putting good shit out.
Speaker 1:By the way, like Squid Games was a lot of viewership, but from what I just said, from what I hear, it was not that good. They did have a let me go back they did have a movie that was a Netflix exclusive movie. That was Emilia Perez is a Netflix movie. Right, that's a Netflix joint. Uh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a Netflix movie and it's up for a lot of awards. So maybe that has to do with the whole thing too. But whatever, netflix prices increasing and our last TV story here Neil Gaiman's the Sandman, to end with season two on Netflix, the fantasy drama comic series has been cancelled at the streamer. The series will end with the forthcoming season 2. There will be no season 3.
Speaker 1:Of course, if you don't know, the big reason for this is because Neil Gaiman, who was executive producer on the show and the original creator of the comic book, was subject to a recent some SA allegations from multiple women. He's been let go from a lot of stuff. Netflix ended their relationship with him. I'm not going to read too much into the actual assault stuff, but yeah, 23-year-old woman accused him for doing some shit in New Zealand, where she was a damn nanny. Second accuser she was 18 and met him at a book signing and sort of took advantage of her when they started a relationship when she was 20. This nigga's old as fuck too. I think so, unfortunately, because the creator is under some scrutiny and some fire.
Speaker 1:All allegations, all allegations. Has it been proven true or not? But of course you know that's enough. You don't want to be connected with that shit. So unfortunately, a lot of people who were working on the show are now going to be out of it, because you know Neil Gaiman might be a piece of shit. So there you go.
Speaker 1:So same ending with season two. That's if you want to keep watching it, because Netflix opened the price. Yesterday's price is not today's price, all right. So that is it for this edition of News Drop, at least for all your listeners, because you already know we are about to enter to watch some trailers. Again, like I mentioned, if you like me cutting it off right here without the trailers, let me know. If you want the trailer part in there, of course, let me know as well, but for now I think it's better if we do it like that. That way I won't have to worry too much about some motherfucking copyright strikes.
Speaker 1:But anywho, in the audio realm, thank you all so much for listening. I very much do appreciate it. Make sure you follow me on all the audio platforms. We're on Spotify, apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, pandora we are on as well. So, yeah, there you go. Actually, not Google Podcasts. Google Podcasts got cancelled. So yeah, there you go.
